5 Months
Our little girl is getting so big so fast. Kaylee now weights 16lbs and is eating veggies and fruits. She loves all of her vegetables in fact there isn't one she doesn't like. As for fruits she doesn't care too much about apple sauce now since shes had bananas. She'd rather have bananas or pears with her rice cereal.
Kaylee also has been sitting up on her own. She can now sit and play with all her toys. And if you try to lay her down after she has been sitting she gets mad. John has taught her to bang on the high chair and to bang the keys on her laptop. Its so cute to see him teach her to bang. Now that she can do it on her own all I hear is the constant music coming from her laptop. Kaylee has also been rolling over. Its funny how we discovered she could rollover, every time we would leave the room while she was playing on her mat we would come back to find her on her belly. At first that was the only time she would do it. I could never get her to do it while I was in the room with her. Silly little girl. But now she is really good at it so she rolls back and forth everytime she is on her play mat.
Kaylee's baby dedication was on March 20th. We felt like proud parents that day. It was such a special day for us we had all of our family there to witness our vow to God. I thanked God for giving us the chance to be parents, for fulfilling our dreams and answering our prayers. Kaylee has been such a blessing to our little family, she is my world.

In the past month
Mommy and kaylee-bug at the slide
Daddy swinging with Kaylee-bug.
Kaylee on of our strolls through the park
At four months Kaylee has mastered eating with a spoon. She LOVES to eat her rice cereal mixed with some apple sauce. She gets so excited when we put her in the high chair because she knows what's coming up. It does get messy, rice cereal goes everywhere but I love how she manages to get it up her nose and in her hair. We all have a good time when she eats. lol.
The weather has been so nice lately that we have done lots of family outings. One day we went to Noah's Ark in Locust Grove, there we saw lots of exotic animals. Kaylee loved to see the tigers she kept smiling at them. We also went to local parks several times. John and I got on the swings with Kaylee and I went down the slide with her. She wasn't too sure about the slide, but she did notice all the other kids playing in the playground. She loved to watch them and gave BIG smiles. Other times at the park we would just take strolls to get some fresh air and sun.
We also celebrated Valentine's Day together as a family. We spent the morning at the park and then the afternoon at home. After dinner we all exchanged cards and read them out loud so Kaylee could hear. I loved seeing John read his card for Kaylee. It was so cute!
In a couple of days Kaylee will be 5 months and she will be trying vegetables for the first time! Cant wait to blog and post pictures about it :)!

4 months
Kaylee is 4 months and weighs 14 lbs 10oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. She is growing so fast boy how the time has flown by.
Lately we have been spending lots of time in Fayetteville so we can see my little brother Jeffrey who is home from Afghanistan for 3 weeks. But now we are going back to spending weekends just us three and going back to our normal routine. And most of all going back to our church McDonough Christian Church.
New things Kaylee has learned to do this month is eating rice cereal with a spoon, holding toys, babbling and squeals, and making spit bubbles (which is so funny to us). She also loves putting her fingers in her mouth and sucking them. I love watching her learn new things and seeing her reaction. She is such a happy baby and her smile melts my heart.
Kaylee has also had her first illness which was an ear infection. She had two actually and was put on two different antibiotics. It was a rough 2 weeks! I hope she doesnt get more of them anytime soon.

3 months
I look like my dolly
Wow 3 months we cant believe it. She was changed so much and growing so fast! This month Kaylee had her first Christmas. Lets just say she was a very good girl and Santa brought her lots of presents. Christmas was very different this year because we have such an amazing gift from God... Kaylee! Everyone had a great Christmas and next year will be even better she will be older and understand a little more. The best part was just spending it with both of our families and having a great time.
Kaylee now weighs 12lbs 8oz and growing more hair. I cant wait to start putting bows and doing ponytails. She holds her head up without any support and she is learning to roll over. I love spending time with her and watching her play with her little toys.
Also this month Kaylee got to meet her Uncle Jeff. My little brother came home from Afghanistan on Friday. It was such a great moment to hard to even describe to see him hold his niece for the first time. Of course everyone was crying tears of joy to have him here with us. Kaylee loved her Uncle Jeff he knew how to make her smile and he also gave her lots of kisses.
Writing this entry and remembering all the memories I can say I feel complete where I am in my life. As long as I keep God in my life he will continue to bless me and watch over my family. All is possible with him in my life.
